The in field and online training that SirVent provides to all SirVent management and technicians is second to none. The SureFire online courses are great for learning about how venting systems work and about all code that we need to know when looking at a fireplace. It’s also a great way to prepare for the CSIA certification exam because it makes sure you know the important information that will be on the exam. The in field training is also a great resource and I have learned a lot through it.
The SirVent franchise owners have set a great example for what a chimney sweep company should look like with the companies they run themselves. They have helped guide me on how to run SirVent Lexington, and what we need to be focusing on as we continue to grow this company. Mark Stoner, Director of Marketing
Mark has been in the chimney industry for more than 30 years and has launched several successful businesses in that time. He is the current President of the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and has mentored countless chimney service business owners through the years. Mark brings a real-world knowledge and understanding of what it takes to make a business profitable, and has helped hundreds of business owners take their businesses to the next level of success. Like the rest of the SirVent Support Team, Mark has built a multi-million dollar business from humble beginnings.
With SirVent, we work to get new business owners off to a fast start by avoiding many of the obstacles that take years to learn to overcome. It starts with our industry-leading training program followed quickly with our unique marketing and office systems protocol. We designed this because we want to facilitate an opportunity for franchisees to own a business that makes money quickly.

Jim is our Director of Training and works closely with each new franchisee as they learn the business. He has 36 years of experience owning and operating a chimney service business and has helped develop lasting training programs for industry organizations as well as new franchisees and their employees.
When I started, training programs were very limited — so you had to figure everything out mostly on your own. I had no real business experience, so learning how to run and market a business was difficult.

Cliff is known for his technical experience and skills, and as part of the SirVent support team, he offers all of his technical knowledge to SirVent franchisees. Cheryl has extensive experience working on the admin side of things and offers real-world advice on office management and smooth business operations.
